October is Subaru Loves Pets month, and since 2015 Subaru has partnered with local animal welfare organizations through the Subaru Loves PetsOpens a New Window. initiative to impact over 230,000 animals across the country.

October Adoption-a-day

To celebrate Subaru Loves Pets month this year, Mark Miller Subaru South Towne will donate $100 to Nuzzles & Co. each day to help cover the cost of one pet adoption (that's $3100 and 31 pet adoptions). Follow us on Facebook for daily adoptable pet highlights throughout October.

Subaru Loves Pets Free Adoption Event

Join Mark Miller Subaru and Nuzzles & Co. for our Subaru Loves Pets Free Adoption Event on October 22 from 3-6 pm at our South Towne location (10920 S State St). All visitors must wear a mask, and we will limit the number of people into the event area to 50 at a time.

Photo Contest

To celebrate the launch of the all-new 2021 Crosstrek Sport, we are encouraging human companions to bring your pets dressed in costume, preferably in your favorite sports team gear.  Get a professional photo with your pet at the event.  All photos will be posted on our Facebook pager after the event for a voting contest with our followers.  The photo with the most likes will receive a special Subaru Loves Pets package.

Giveaways & Vendors

We'll be handing out free pet treats and human treats (root beer floats).  Hugo Coffee will be providing free coffee.  Stunt Puppy will be creating custom pet collars for a fee.  Nuzzles & Co. will be offering a free "Best Behavior K9 Training and Ask a Trainer" training workshop during the event.

Free Pet Adoptions

Thanks to grant funding from the ASPCA, Nuzzles & Co. will be providing free dog and cat adoptions at the event (same background screening as normal).  Guests will be served on a first come, first served basis.  Upon arrival, visit the Nuzzles & Co. booth to put your name on the list.  Only one group at a time will be allowed in the dog area and cat area to meet adoptable pets.  No more than 3 people per group at a time, and everyone must be wearing a mask to be in pet area.

National Make a Dog's Day

Subaru's National Make a Dog's Day takes place October 22, 2020. Have an underdog you've taken in to your family? Share a photo of your underdog on Suba Bleu's Facebook page for your chance to win some cool prizes.
